The Patient Care module caters to the following functions:

Reception / Registration Module
Patient Registration Module provides the functionality of registering a Patient who is visiting first time to the Hospital. A Patient will visit to the hospital and go to the Registration Counter and get himself/herself register with the hospital. The Person at the Registration Counter will fill all the details of the Patient and a unique no. will be issued to the Patient and that unique no will be Patients MRD No. or Patient no. that will be used for Future visits to the Hospital.
Patient Registration
Apart from entering all the demographic details of the Patient, Registration Module also provide the facility of entering the Medical History of the Patient, and this Medical History can be view by Doctors in their module when that Patient goes to the respective Doctor.
Patient Visit
If a patient is visiting to consult with the Doctor only and for some Tests/Services etc. he would be given OP (Out -Patient) Visit and if the Patient is visiting for getting admitted in the Hospital he/she would be given a IP (In-Patient) Visit.
A bar coded patient ID card with MRD Number can be generated which will be used to identify the patient uniquely everywhere in the hospital.
Patient cannot be admitted without advance payment, except if the patient is an emergency patient.
A Paying party is defined along with the class for the Patient.
Test ordering for the patient.
Providing the patient with different packages.
Bed Allocation for the patient if the patient is an In-Patient.
Operation Theatre & Surgery ordering for an In-Patient.
Registering of Emergency Patients:
Emergency patient can be registered with minimum details of registration. Provision has also been kept to allow the patient to be admitted without advance payments
It includes the selection of vacant appointment slots.
Scheduling the patient for the vacant slots and selecting the service or test for which the appointment has been scheduled.
Defining Doctors availability and their timing slots.
Blocking Doctors timings and eventually canceling patients appointments.
Billing module is flexible enough to incorporate any type of new charges for equipment, services and treatments. The administrator can do all these changes without making any changes in the software or without needing to access the database directly.
Closing the visit of the patient after settling all of his bills.
Provision of searching a particular patient.
The billing module also takes care of all the insurance needs of the patient.
